Mooney AirPass Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, account credits, and changes apply to purchases of a Mooney AirPass through Mooney International, including any AirPass memberships, travel credits, flight benefits, promotional pass products, or related digital travel benefits offered through mooneyinternational.com.
By purchasing a Mooney AirPass, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy, our Terms of Service, and any fare rules, booking conditions, or partner airline conditions shown at checkout or at the time of booking.
1. General Policy
Mooney AirPass is a prepaid travel membership and/or travel credit product that provides access to eligible Mooney International, Spirit Airlines, SEAIR, and partner-network travel benefits, subject to availability, route eligibility, booking windows, fare rules, and the terms of the specific AirPass purchased.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated at checkout, Mooney AirPass purchases are non-transferable and may only be used by the person, family, company, or account holder named at the time of purchase.
2. Cancellation Within the Initial Review Period
Customers may request cancellation of a newly purchased Mooney AirPass within 14 calendar days of purchase, provided that:
No flight, seat, baggage, lounge, upgrade, partner benefit, promotional credit, or other AirPass benefit has been used, redeemed, booked, transferred, or activated;
No travel has commenced under the AirPass;
The AirPass was not purchased as a clearly marked non-refundable promotional, founder, corporate, special-event, or limited-release product; and
The cancellation request is submitted through Mooney International Customer Support within the applicable review period.
If approved, Mooney International may issue a refund to the original payment method, less any applicable payment processing fees, currency conversion fees, third-party charges, or used benefits.
Once an AirPass benefit has been used, redeemed, booked, or activated, the AirPass will generally be considered active and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
3. Refunds After Activation or Use
After an AirPass has been activated or any AirPass benefit has been used, redeemed, or booked, the AirPass purchase becomes non-refundable unless:
Mooney International cancels the AirPass product before any meaningful benefit has been made available;
A refund is required by applicable consumer protection, aviation, or payment law;
Mooney International determines, in its sole discretion, that a refund, partial refund, or travel credit is appropriate due to exceptional circumstances; or
The specific AirPass terms shown at checkout provide a different refund right.
Where a partial refund is approved, Mooney International may deduct the retail or published value of any used benefits, issued credits, waived fees, lounge access, baggage benefits, seat selections, upgrades, promotional bonuses, administrative costs, and third-party charges.
4. Flight Booking Cancellations Made Using AirPass
Cancelling a flight booked with Mooney AirPass does not automatically cancel the AirPass itself.
Flight bookings made using AirPass are subject to:
The fare rules displayed at the time of booking;
The cancellation deadline for the specific flight;
Seat and route availability;
Partner airline operating rules, where applicable;
Airport, government, security, and tax refund rules; and
Any no-show, late cancellation, or rebooking fees.
If a flight booked with AirPass is cancelled within the permitted cancellation window, eligible AirPass credits or benefits may be returned to the customer’s AirPass account. If the booking is cancelled late, missed, or treated as a no-show, the applicable credit, segment, benefit, or booking entitlement may be forfeited.
5. No-Show Policy
A “no-show” occurs when a customer does not check in, board, or cancel an eligible flight within the required cancellation window.
For no-shows, Mooney International may:
Deduct the applicable AirPass credit, segment, benefit, or travel value;
Charge any applicable no-show, rebooking, or administrative fee;
Restrict future booking access for repeated no-shows; and/or
Apply the operating airline’s no-show rules.
Refunds are not provided for no-shows unless required by applicable law.
6. Changes, Rebooking, and Travel Credits
Customers may be allowed to change or rebook eligible AirPass travel, subject to availability, route eligibility, booking windows, fare differences, taxes, fees, and partner airline rules.
Where permitted, cancelled eligible bookings may be returned as AirPass credit rather than cash. AirPass credits have no cash value, cannot be sold, and may only be used within the AirPass account according to the terms of the applicable pass.
Unused AirPass credits or benefits expire at the end of the AirPass validity period unless the applicable AirPass tier, promotion, or written offer states otherwise.
7. Promotional, Founder, Corporate, and Limited-Release Passes
Certain Mooney AirPass products may be offered as promotional, founder, corporate, enterprise, family, limited-release, discounted, bonus-credit, or special-event products.
These passes may be non-refundable, partially refundable, transferable only under limited conditions, or subject to special cancellation rules. Any special terms shown at checkout, in the offer terms, or in a signed corporate agreement will apply in addition to this policy.
If there is a conflict between this policy and a signed Mooney International corporate or enterprise agreement, the signed agreement will control.
8. Taxes, Fees, and Third-Party Charges
Some taxes, government charges, airport fees, payment processing fees, currency conversion fees, partner airline charges, and third-party service fees may be non-refundable.
Where a refund is approved, Mooney International will determine whether any taxes or fees are refundable based on applicable law, operating airline rules, and the rules of the relevant airport, government authority, payment provider, or third-party supplier.
9. Refund Method and Processing Time
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method used for purchase.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, issuing bank, currency, and country of purchase. Mooney International will make reasonable efforts to process approved refunds promptly, but the time required for funds to appear in a customer’s account is controlled by the customer’s bank or payment provider.
Where a refund to the original payment method is not possible, Mooney International may offer an alternative refund method or issue AirPass travel credit where permitted by law.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Mooney International Customer Support before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened, Mooney International may temporarily suspend the customer’s AirPass account, pending bookings, credits, and benefits while the dispute is reviewed. Fraudulent, abusive, or repeated chargebacks may result in cancellation of the AirPass account and restriction from future purchases.
11. Fraud, Abuse, and Misuse
Mooney International may cancel, suspend, or refuse to refund an AirPass if we reasonably believe the AirPass has been purchased, used, transferred, resold, or accessed in violation of our Terms of Service, airline rules, payment rules, or applicable law.
Examples of misuse include, but are not limited to:
Reselling or attempting to resell AirPass benefits;
Using false, incomplete, or misleading identity or payment information;
Creating duplicate accounts to obtain additional benefits;
Abusing promotional credits, bonus offers, or referral programs;
Using AirPass benefits for unauthorized commercial resale; or
Breaching airline safety, security, or conduct rules.
In cases of fraud or misuse, Mooney International may cancel the AirPass without refund, subject to applicable law.
12. Airline-Initiated Cancellations, Delays, and Schedule Changes
If a flight booked using AirPass is cancelled, significantly delayed, or materially changed by Mooney International, Spirit Airlines, SEAIR, or a partner airline, the customer’s rights will depend on the applicable airline rules, passenger rights laws, route, operating carrier, and circumstances of the disruption.
Where applicable, customers may be offered rebooking, travel credit, restoration of AirPass benefits, or a refund of eligible taxes, fees, or flight charges. This does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund of the entire AirPass membership unless required by law or expressly approved by Mooney International.
13. Expiration of AirPass Benefits
AirPass benefits, credits, booking privileges, and promotional bonuses must be used within the validity period stated for the applicable AirPass.
Unused benefits do not roll over, convert to cash, or extend automatically unless expressly stated in the applicable AirPass terms or required by law.
14. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To request a cancellation, refund, or review of an AirPass purchase, please contact Mooney International Customer Support through the contact form on mooneyinternational.com or by using the support contact details provided in your purchase confirmation.
Your request should include:
Full name of the AirPass holder;
Email address used for purchase;
AirPass order number or confirmation number;
Date of purchase;
Reason for the request;
Details of any flight bookings or benefits already used; and
Any supporting documents, where applicable.
Mooney International may request additional information to verify the account holder, payment details, or eligibility for a refund.
15. Changes to This Policy
Mooney International may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of purchase will generally apply to that purchase unless a change is required by law or is more favorable to the customer.
Updated policies will be posted on mooneyinternational.com with a new “Last Updated” date.
